Traveling across the world for Broadleaf's fourth Darjeeling-to-Kathmandu bike ride isn't in the cards for anyone this year.

Instead, on June 26th we're taking it to any road, bike trail, or stationary bike near you.

On June 26th, riders from around the world will be on their bikes for Broadleaf. We'll have some informal get-togethers for interested riders, and those who are going along can share their efforts and follow along with us on instagram and Facebook.

You can still support the team! Proceeds from the ride go directly to support the work of Broadleaf and our partners keeping primary school students health, happy, and learning in the rural and marginalized communities outside Darjeeling, India.

About the Ride

In 2012, 2014, and 2018 Broadleaf hosted international groups of riders on three distinctly epic journeys from our partner communities in Darjeeling, India, to the capital of neighboring Nepal, Kathmandu. The ride afforded participants the adventure of a lifetime, mountain biking 250 miles through the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, immersed in the landscapes and culture. The result was a a memorable experience that would be nearly impossible to have as a tourist. Our plans for a 2020 ride were postponed and ultimately cancelled, but out of the disappointment came an opportunity for our supporters around the globe to come together to support our partner communities.
