The Research Assistant coordinates all research activities in our partner schools and communities.
You will directly participate in collection of qualitative data, administration of quantitative data measures, data entry, informed consenting, administering data instruments and coordinating translation/transcription
Reports Directly to:
Principal Investigator - DLRPrerna -Broadleaf
Project Director-DLRPrerna-Broadleaf
Research Administrator-DLRPrerna -Broadleaf
Programme Administrator- DLRPrerna -Broadleaf
Works Directly with:
Partner Communities (school administration, teachers, staff, parents and caregivers, and students)
About the Role
Requirements
BA or equivalent is required. Advanced degree in Research, Public Health or other Health related fields, Medical Anthropology or other related Social Science Discipline, Social Work, or other relevant field is preferred.
Prior experience or training in research methods (quantitative and/or qualitative and publishing)
Demonstrated maturity and judgment
Ability to work independently and take initiative. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task, and self-manage
Desire to grow and develop as a professional
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in spoken and written Nepali highly valued
